What is the definition of a "fake" or an active or real account? Because you have the bot accounts and then you inactive accounts (e.g. forgot the handle or password or email, business or website went under, creator died, the candidate lost the election etc), parody accounts, troll accounts, business or political candidate accounts, and accounts created so you can just look at Twitter.... My guess is that an average Twitter user may have several (mostly inactive) accounts...

Social media and the future of humanity?? Social media is a fad that will maybe last longer than others but there was a world before social media and there will be a world after social media. Elon has most probably realizeed what a bad idea buying Twitter (or any social media) would be. Had Twitter implemented a hard check on every single account (via id or something else) it would have never taken off. One of the big selling points of these social media is anonymity and the capability for the average Joe to say whatever without any kind of consequences, hence, most of the accounts can't even be verified if they are real or not.

He may get TWIT for much cheaper when the bot scam is disclosed.

Also he may use the platform with Starlink to host a new pay system (crypto). I may need to grab some bitcorn and some doge while they're on sale.

One last point - someone very close to me is connected to Larry Ellison of Oracle - check out oracles latest acquisition and Oracle Web Services.... Larry is a patriot and is fully on board with Elon.... rumor is they both hate Bezos, Zuck & Gates and pooling their resources to take them all down in coordination with Team Trump... oh, and Peter Theil is also involved bigly... 🍿🍿🍿🤯

That's excellent. Good to have some heavies on our side.

Terrific analysis and you certainly have hhe experience to make statements and conclusions based on real world experience. Interestingly we were both involved in the early formation of the World Wide Web - you on the data analytics side to my understanding and I was a Wall Street financier raising hundreds of millions to build the “pipes” - from dial up modems to xDSL CLECs to wireless and fiber guys including WinStar and Level 7. Remember the great telco crash and why it happened? Carriers were trading IRUs and accounting for these transactions as sales and recognizing revenue when no cash actually changed hands inflating income statements and inflating values. WinStar’s collapse started it all since 90% of their “revenue” was phantom and based on IRUs and it nearly bankrupted the entire telco industry. I think the bots inhabiting Twatter are much the same, generating ad revenue from fake impressions and clicks - once advertisers, no matter how corrupted and tied to the DS, discover 30-40% of the billions spent on impressions and clicks across platforms including Twatter were never seen by an actual person there will be lawsuits galore - shareholders and advertisers oh my!! Twatter is just the start, Google Adsense and other ad platforms are liable as well imho. Now how many bots are on FB? Are bots clicking sponsored links from fake searches on search engines like Google, Bing et al.? Musk knew this all along imho and I believe his intention in coordination with the DJT team launched his takeover timed perfectly to expose the fraud and eventually buy Twatter for around $20 a share. Wish I could write as effectively as you, but just sitting in the park on my iPhone and doing my best, chuckle. Keep up the great work and analysis. NCSWIC

Elon may very well have “material fact” to back out or even reduce the offer price If indeed the user spam account is, for instance, 23.7% and not less than 5% ... and indeed Twitter shareholder also gave recourse to sue Twitter for gross negligence in their SEC filings

This war is just getting started!!
