CC...I have been an unpaid subscriber of yours for quite awhile. Your technical expertise on many subjects that are in my wheelhouse of interests is uncanny. I became a paid subscriber today after reading your "What ThinThread can tell us about early..." I too have been thinking about voting and the blockchain. I realize that the powers-that-be would fight this tooth and nail as their plausible deniability and cheating with this intentionally broken system would be at risk. I suspect that good code writers in conjunction with state Secretaries of State could write blockchain programs that would be certifiable and ready to work in way less time than the assimilation of Dominion, ES&S, and Smartmatic systems took to get their hooks into the host of counties and states. A great article and one that should come to the attention of the blockchain movers and shakers!!!

LOVE the idea! I’ve been saying the same thing without knowing fully the tech side of it but it makes complete sense.

I think we are all tired of paper, ballads, and glitchy Dominican voting machines. It would be great if we could get this concept out there and into the minds of those people who need to make decisions about how to ensure their elections are corruption free or at least corruption to appoint less than what it was in 2020.. I don’t know how Blockchain works, but you do and your knowledge would come in very handy and selling this concept to the masses. Have you thought about doing that?.

Very good point! Conservatives must be able to benefit (not cheat) from the systems that are in place and figure out how to expose/thwart the cheating until a blockchain is created to flawlessly capture honest elections. Blessings and thank you.🙏

I'm a fan of blockchain, any non-centralized ledger system would be nearly impossible to fake as long as the participants (on the voter rolls) were valid voters.

That aside, I don't see how having percentages and metadata helps us. (By us, I mean patriots, the GOP can go F itself). Early voting metadate helps the cheaters because they know how much to cheat. How do supposed white hats benefit from the metadata? If they're not going to cheat, all they can do is twiddle their thumbs while the black hats cheat.

it helps direct attention and dollars to where get out the vote might be the most effective. If Metadata suggests a precinct is already over the margin of victory, then attention can be directed elsewhere

Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes data analysis that early voting provides. Same playbook used everywhere.

Once again good article Eric. According to a report I saw Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is trying to clean the voter fraud possibilities. 6,000 non-citizens and 60,000 voter registrations of deceased people were found thus far. That is just one State. What about the other 49?

It will be interesting to see how this election cycle will turn out!

Will you share your PowerPoint slide show describing blockchain, that you share with friends and family? Would love to have something to share myself.

The key is this phrase: “ They also may not help if “counterfeit” ballots are injected by mail in voting, for example.”

What can be done about the fake people on the voter rolls with fake paper ballots?
